Senior Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £63,000 + Up to 10.5% Bonus
Location: Warrington (Hybrid Working Available)
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a high-performing commercial team responsible for delivering major infrastructure and transformation projects across the North West.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with a strong construction background to take ownership of high-value contracts, influence major project delivery programmes, and help drive commercial excellence across a diverse portfolio of works.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage pre-contract commercial activities including procurement strategy development, tender preparation, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award recommendations.
- Develop, review, and quality assure sourcing and tender documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Provide expert commercial, contractual, and procurement advice to project teams and key stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across multiple business functions, influencing decision-making to support successful project delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
- Procure and manage contracts, framework agreements, and work packages, ensuring best-value outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong supplier and contractor relationships, promoting effective contract governance.
- Support, mentor, and develop junior commercial team members.
- Deliver high-quality commercial management throughout the full project lifecycle.

What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- Proven experience managing large volumes of contracts through to completion.
- Strong understanding of Quantity Surveying processes across the full project lifecycle.
- Experience working with NEC contracts.
- Strong commercial negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
- Knowledge of construction programming and scheduling methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
