From site surveys through to civils construction and final landscaping, we deliver turnkey groundwork and enabling solutions that help our partners bring projects to life. We are now looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager with strong groundworks expertise and in-depth knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts to join our established organisation.
You’ll have the autonomy to take real ownership of commercial performance across a varied project portfolio, further developing your skills and enabling you to continue on your professional track, whilst positively impacting both project outcomes and our wider business.

The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will lead commercial activities across our construction project portfolio.
You will take ownership of project costs, value and risk, managing applications for payment, variations and retentions while maintaining accurate records and driving timely agreement and payment.
Alongside managing contracts, you will provide clear reporting on cash and margins, working closely with project teams to strengthen commercial standards across the business.
Additionally, you will:
- Produce monthly CVRs and maintain accurate commercial trackers
- Manage NEC, JCT and bespoke contract administration
- Attend client meetings and carry out site inspections
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers
- Develop commercial awareness within project teams

About You
To be considered as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will need:
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager
- Knowledge of the construction industry, specifically groundworks
- Strong working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
- A track record of protecting and improving profit margins and cash
- The ability to manage multiple live projects and a high volume of tenders
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to build strong professional relationships with clients and contacts
- High levels of attention to detail and financial accuracy
- A full, valid driving licence
