Senior Quantity Surveyor

🏢 Tier 1 Main Contractor
We're working with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their successful London & Home Counties team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on major Department for Education (DfE) projects while developing your career within a well-established business.
The Role
- Lead the commercial management of projects from inception to final account.
- Produce and manage cost reports, forecasts and budgets.
- Take ownership of projects and manage commercial performance independently.
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor management and change control.
- Support two-stage tender and framework opportunities.
- Work closely with operational teams to achieve project objectives.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.

Requirements
- Experience working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
- Department for Education (DfE) project experience.
- Proven ability to manage projects independently.
- Experience with two-stage procurement.
- Strong commercial, contractual and negotiation skills.
- HNC, HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
- RICS membership or working towards chartership is advantageous.
