About The Role
Our Balfour Beatty Highways business has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team on the Highways A57 Mottram Moor Link Road Scheme, this role will be based within the Manchester / Longdendale area.
Balfour Beatty Highways maintain, manage, and operate major highway networks across the UK and support local authorities creating communities where people want to live, work, and play.
We provide high-quality asset strategy, management, and planning consultancy services to a wide range of public and private sector customers. We provide specialist, reliable, sustainable, and creative advice for asset management planning and implementation in the UK. We put our customers first and prioritise completing schemes safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
What you'll be doing
Experienced Senior QS to manage the roadworks commercial workstream, managing all costs and income within their workstream on the A57. With experience to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.
Who we're looking for
The Following Qualifications Or Their Equivalent Are Essential
- BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent knowledge
- MRICS/MCInstCES/MCIOB or working towards them
- CSCS Card (Professional Qualified Person)
- Experienced working on Highways Infrastructure or other relatable Civil Engineering Schemes.
- Experienced working for a Principal / Main Contractor or a Tier 2 Regional Contractor.
