Tier 1 Main Contractor - Senior Quantity Surveyor
One of the UK's leading Tier 1 main contractors is looking for an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in London, initially a £80 Million residential scheme in North London. With a strong pipeline of work within private residential and commercial sectors this contractor has a flow of projects in London and surrounding area of approximately £700 Million.
The individual will be based on site with the commercial and production teams. They will have many duties, key aspects of the job being:

- Managing commercial team or at least 3 surveyors
- Manage the commercials of all packages across the project.
- Training and developing junior commercial staff.
- Producing regular cost analysis of the project.
- Liaising closely with the project lead ensuring production stays in line with project budget.
- Reporting to a visiting Commercial Manager.
- Build relationship within the business and with client and consultants.
The individual will have a key role in the delivery of this flagship London project and will have the opportunity to lead future projects of similar scale in the future.

To fully suit the position the SQS must fit the following criteria:
- 3-5 years at least as a Project Surveyor.
- Residential experience on projects over £20Million in value.
- BSc or similar in Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying.
- Ambition to further your career.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage individuals.
