Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
We are currently partnering with a professional property and construction consultancy, who are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their well-established team on a permanent basis in their Surrey office.
Our client is proud to provide services to a wide and varied range of clients in both the public and private sector, across London, the South Coast and the West Country.
Job Details
Salary
This is a full-time position with a salary band of £60,000 – £65,000 DOE with the start date subject to notice.
Duties
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Leading the delivery of Quantity Surveying services across a range of projects
- Providing strategic cost advice, cost planning, procurement support, contract administration, and commercial management
- Managing multiple commissions simultaneously, ensuring efficient delivery, quality, and client satisfaction
- Acting as primary point of contact for clients, developing long-standing relationships based on trust and exceptional service
- Preparing, reviewing, and presenting reports, cost plans, tender documents, and contractual correspondence
- Ensuring compliance with RICS standards, internal QA processes, and best practice procedures

Experience Required
- MRICS/FRICS
- Consultancy experience
- Experience in the residential, mixed-use, education, public sector or commercial sectors
- Demonstrable experience managing your own instructions and clients
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required
- Communication skills, with confidence in leading meetings and presenting to senior and stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage workloads, commission teams, and deliver projects independently
- Excellent understanding of construction contracts (JCT essential)
- Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills
