Senior Quantity Surveyor

Position: Senior commercial appointment

The opportunity

We are looking for a high-calibre Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of Europe's leading and award-winning building contractors.

This is a senior commercial position within a business renowned for delivering large-scale, technically complex construction projects across international markets.

It's an opportunity for an ambitious commercial professional to take on significant responsibility, work alongside an experienced project leadership team and build a long-term career with a highly respected contractor.

Your impact

You will take a leading role in the commercial management of a major construction project, with responsibility across the full project lifecycle.

This will include:

  • Commercial strategy and cost management
  • Procurement and subcontract management
  • Cost reporting, forecasting and financial control
  • Variations, change and contractual management
  • Commercial risk and opportunity
  • Client and consultant relationships
  • Final accounts and project close-out
  • Supporting and developing the wider commercial team

The ideal background

You should have experience managing large-scale building projects, strong commercial and contractual knowledge, and the confidence to operate with senior clients, project directors and key stakeholders.

European or international experience would be highly advantageous, although candidates with exceptional major-project experience will also be considered.
