The group is made up of three specialist divisions: Britplas Façades; delivering high-performance building envelopes for commercial projects, Britplas Secure; the market leader in fenestration for mental health and secure healthcare environments, and newly Britplas Fire; a specialist fire-rated glazing division.
Britplas Façades works with leading Tier 1 contractors including Laing O'Rourke, Morgan Sindall, Sisk, Kier, Wates, VolkerFitzpatrick, Sir Robert McAlpine, BCEGI and McLaughlin & Harvey to deliver high-performance façade packages including SFS, curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, aluminium cladding and terracotta cladding.
Britplas Façades is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of façade packages across multiple projects. - Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 package
- Location: Office based at our Warrington HQ (WA1 4RW), with some UK travel
About the Role
This is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Commercial Director. The role involves managing all aspects of cost control, preparing cost plans and budgets, handling Bills of Quantities (BOQ), conducting detailed cost reporting, and ensuring financial outcomes align with project objectives. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will collaborate closely with the design, procurement, and project teams to maintain high standards of cost efficiency and accountability.
What you'll do:
- Manage all commercial aspects of façade projects from tender to final account, including pricing, budgets, bill of quantities and CVRs
- Administer contracts under JCT and NEC forms managing variations, compensation events and claims
- Lead procurement and negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor and control costs, proactively identifying risks and opportunities
- Prepare valuations, payment applications and cash flow projections
- Liaise directly with clients, consultants and project teams, attending meetings and site visits as required
- Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors and commercial staff

What you'll need:
- Proven Senior QS experience, specifically within the façade / cladding subcontract sector
- Strong working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts, with practical application
- Demonstrable track record managing packages independently, end to end
- Excellent numeracy, negotiation and communication skills
- BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying
- CSCS Card
- Full UK driving licence
- Based in or within easy commuting distance of the North West of England
