Senior Quantity Surveyor, £90k–£110k + Package, £200m Data Centre, Borehamwood
A premier, Tier-1 main contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of a massive £200m data centre development in Borehamwood.
Kicking off this January, this high-tech scheme offers a long-term project lifecycle, a highly competitive salary up to £110,000, and a clear path to Commercial Manager within an expanding hyper-scale division.
The Role
- You will take commercial ownership of this major development from pre-construction through to final accounts, managing sub-contractor packages and driving profitability.
- Lead commercial aspects of a £200m hyper-scale project.
- Oversee procurement, sub-contract management, and variations.
- Drive detailed cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Mitigate risk while maximizing project profitability.
- Mentor and develop junior commercial staff on-site.

What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior QS (or an ambitious QS ready to step up) with a Tier-1 or Tier-2 main contractor.
- Previous experience in data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial, or M&E-heavy projects is highly advantageous.
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
- Strong negotiation skills and deep contractual awareness.
