About the Company
FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established residential housebuilder with the recruitment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
About the Role
Permanent, full-time position based in Glasgow, with travel to sites. Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
- Take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of housing developments.
- Manage projects from initial procurement through to final account.
- Set, monitor and manage project budgets.
- Place subcontractor and supplier orders.
- Produce accurate commercial reports and cost forecasts.
- Monitor material costs and project expenditure.
- Liaise closely with subcontractors, site teams and other internal departments.
- Ensure commercial activity is completed in line with company procedures.
- Support and provide guidance to junior members of the commercial team.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery.

Qualifications
- Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification such as a degree, HND or equivalent.
- RICS qualification or progress towards professional accreditation would be beneficial.
- Full UK driving licence required.
Required Skills
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction.
- Residential housebuilding experience would be highly advantageous.
- Strong commercial, budgeting and cost-management experience.

Preferred Skills
