CaSE Contractors is a globally experienced team of specialists who provide civil and structural engineering expertise highly sought after by government and infrastructure industry clients.
We work in partnership with a variety of delivery agencies to provide technical support across all project stages and work closely with our clients to provide oversight on major infrastructure and building projects.
About the Role
CaSE is seeking Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors to support major infrastructure, rail, highways, energy and civil engineering projects throughout the United Kingdom. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle, supporting commercial management, subcontract administration, contract management, cost control and change management activities.
Responsibilities will be aligned to experience, with senior candidates leading commercial functions across major projects and mentoring junior surveyors.

Key Responsibilities
- Support or lead commercial management across infrastructure projects.
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts and commercial updates.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, administration and final accounts.
- Support monthly valuations and payment applications.
- Administer NEC contracts and compensation events.
- Assess variations, claims and commercial correspondence.
- Maintain project commercial records and reporting systems.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Support project teams with commercial advice and reporting.
Senior-level candidates will lead commercial strategy and mentor junior surveyors.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management or related discipline.
- Experience within infrastructure, rail, highways, energy, utilities or civil engineering sectors.
- NEC contract experience preferred for Quantity Surveyors and essential for Senior Quantity Surveyors.
- Strong commercial reporting and forecasting skills.
- Experience managing subcontractor accounts and commercial processes.
- MRICS or progression toward MRICS is advantageous.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially disciplined and delivery-focused.
