Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager (High-End Residential) | £60,000 - £80,000 | London | Consultancy | Permanent
Some projects are just “another build”.
Others are residential properties costing several million pounds with clients who notice absolutely everything.
We are working with a unique consultancy who offer project management and quantity surveying services on premium residential and commercial developments. With a reputation for delivering bespoke homes where the detail really matters, relationships matter and cost control is as much about trust as it is spreadsheets, this is a role for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who enjoys assuming the role of commercial backbone on projects.

This requires someone who can sit comfortably with clients, architects, contractors and consultants. Someone who understands contracts, procurement, tendering, valuations and risk – but critically, understands people.
- You will guide projects from early feasibility through to final accounts.
- Setting budgets.
- Testing designs.
- Preparing tender documents.
- Negotiating.
- Managing change.
- Keeping projects commercially on track while the build team focuses on delivery.

This is a hybrid role with office, site and client meetings. Normal working hours, but with flexibility and trust rather than micromanagement.
Salary is going to be negotiable, with bonus and private healthcare. But most importantly, you’ll be joining an experienced team with a strong reputation in the sector.
If you’re an experienced QS / Cost Manager, ideally chartered, comfortable running high-value residential projects end-to-end, this is worth a conversation.
