Senior Quantity Surveyor (MRICS)

Are you an MRICS Chartered Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career with one of the UK's leading multidisciplinary construction consultancies?
I'm working exclusively with a highly respected global consultancy that is continuing to grow its Cost Management team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business delivering some of Scotland's most exciting and complex projects across sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, defence, infrastructure, public sector, and mixed-use developments.

The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality cost management services throughout the full project lifecycle, working closely with clients and project teams to ensure successful project delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing pre and post contract Quantity Surveying services.
- Cost planning, estimating, and budgeting.
- Procurement advice and tender management.
- Contract administration and commercial management.
- Managing project costs and reporting to clients.
- Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Identifying opportunities for business development and repeat work.

Essential Requirements
MRICS Chartered status is essential for this position.
You'll also have:
- Proven experience working within a construction consultancy or cost consultancy environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK construction contracts, particularly NEC and/or JCT.
- Experience delivering projects from inception through to completion.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and communication abilities.
- Full right to work in the UK.
