An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional looking to play a key role in delivering high-quality projects while working within a supportive and collaborative team.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring costs are effectively controlled while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and the wider project team.
The Role
- Manage the commercial performance of multiple construction projects.
- Prepare, submit, and negotiate valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow.
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
- Provide accurate financial reporting to the Commercial Manager.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners.

About You
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally at Senior level.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative commercial team.
- Relevant construction or quantity surveying qualification preferred.
