Senior Quantity Surveyor - £90,000-£105,000 + Benefits
Denham (Uxbridge) | Travel across UK
An established specialist construction contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial leadership across its Irish operations while supporting selected projects throughout Europe.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you'll take ownership of the commercial performance of multiple projects, managing applications, valuations, variations, final accounts, forecasting, CVRs, WIP, cash flow and client relationships. You'll also lead commercial meetings, oversee contract administration, identify commercial risks and recovery opportunities, and ensure robust project reporting.

This role includes line management of two direct reports, providing leadership, mentoring and support to develop the commercial team while maintaining high standards of governance and commercial control.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction, specialist subcontracting, access/scaffolding or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of applications, variations, final accounts, contract administration, CVRs and commercial reporting.
- Previous experience managing or mentoring junior commercial staff.
- Excellent client-facing, negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 (experience with construction ERP systems is advantageous).
- Willingness to travel across Ireland and occasionally Europe as required.
