Our Nuclear & Infrastructure division has extensive experience in the specialist, highly regulated nuclear, transport (road and rail), process industries and power and energy sectors. Providing award winning design teams, utilising state-of-the-art design software and Tekla detailing facilities to offer customers value engineering. This gives a mix of proven success along with modern, innovative design and fabrication ideas to be able to provide a quality, specialised service to a growing market. Vacancy Details, Key Skills & Experience

In the Senior Quantity Surveyor (HPC) position you will be working on high value and critical projects, building relationships with a range of high-profile clients which service the defence, nuclear, oil & gas and petrochemical sectors.

Other Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Ensuring the successful commercial outcome of key nuclear and defence projects
  • Commercial responsibility from contract award through to completion and final account
  • Managing variations and changes with customers
  • Working as part of an experienced commercial team
  • Developing key relations with a range of clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Working closely with internal departments to ensure successful, profitable outcomes.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working as a QS or Senior QS
  • Construction industry experience in a commercial role
  • Strong experience of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts
  • Good communication skills with the ability to influence
  • An understanding of fabrication processes is desirable
  • Experience of managing and delivering variations whilst retaining repeat business
