Senior Quantity Surveyor with Programme Manager responsibility
Location: Manchester
Salary: £50-60k + Car allowance
At Baily Garner we have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with programme responsibilities to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Manchester. You'll be working on a diverse range of projects including New Build Low Rise Housing, High Rise Cladding Remediation Works, Restoration works for listed buildings and will play a pivotal role in developing new business in the North West. As Programme Manager you will be responsible for growing our North West Quantity Surveying Service through winning work and managing a team of Quantity Surveyor's to ensure all our Client's receive a first class service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Delighting clients by providing an excellent level of customer service
- Grow our Cost Consultancy service offering in the North West
- Perform the role of Employer's Agent on projects, undertaking site visits as required and chairing meetings on behalf of the Client where necessary
- Produce Employer's Requirements and other Contract Documents
- Produce Budget Estimates, Cost Plans and Process Valuations
- Lead and manage a team; developing rising stars and nurturing talent
- Delegate duties while retaining overall responsibility for achievement
Ideal Candidate:
- BSc (Hons) degree or MSc or similar in Quantity Surveying
- Membership of RICS or equivalent
- Excellent core quantity surveying skills
- Proven track record of managing programmes of work and complex building contracts
- Strong client interface skills
- APMP Certification is an advantage but not essential
