Lower Thames Crossing
£550/day Umbrella
Initial 3-month contract - long-term extension likely
Hybrid 3 days in office, 2 from home Grays, Essex
Our client, a leading Tier 1 contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a major package on the Lower Thames Crossing.
The role
- Manage commercial delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure work packages.
- Prepare CVRs, forecasts, cost reports, applications for payment and cash flow.
- Administer NEC contracts, including early warnings, compensation events, notices and change control.
- Manage subcontract procurement, valuations, variations, payments and final accounts.
- Provide commercial support to operational and project-delivery teams.
- Identify commercial risk, opportunity and cost-recovery actions.

Requirements
- Senior QS experience on major highways, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong NEC3/NEC4 and subcontract-management experience.
- Proven CVR, forecasting, change-control and final-account capability.
- CEMAR or similar NEC contract-management system experience desirable.
- Degree qualified or equivalent relevant commercial experience.
