A leading infrastructure delivery business is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding commercial team in Liverpool
Working across a diverse portfolio of civil engineering, utilities and infrastructure projects, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful commercial delivery of schemes from inception through to final account. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation with a strong pipeline of secured work and a reputation for investing in its people.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial management of multiple projects and frameworks
- Produce accurate cost reporting, forecasting and financial performance reviews
- Manage subcontract procurement, payments and final accounts
- Administer contract requirements and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Review, negotiate and agree variations and change controls
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
- Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal delivery teams
- Support operational teams with commercial guidance throughout project lifecycles
- Contribute to strategic business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives

About You
We're keen to speak with commercially astute Quantity Surveyors who can demonstrate:
- Significant experience within infrastructure, civil engineering, utilities or energy sectors
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial procedures
- Experience managing subcontractor accounts and commercial negotiations
- Excellent financial reporting and cost management capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary project teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness
