A leading construction consultancy are recruiting for an Associate Quantity Surveyor and a Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a major data centre project in West London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost & Commercial professional with strong data centre experience and expert knowledge of FIDIC Yellow Book.
The Role
You’ll take a senior, client-facing role across the project lifecycle, with responsibility for commercial and cost management activities from pre-contract through to post-contract and final account.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Cost planning, estimating and benchmarking
- Procurement strategy and tender management
- Contract administration and commercial management
- Managing project budgets, costs and cashflow
- Assessment of payment applications
- Change control, variations and claims
- Contractual correspondence and stakeholder management
- Final accounts and project close-out
- Leading and supporting junior team members
- Building strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders

What We’re Looking For
- Quantity Surveying, Commercial or Cost Management experience
- Strong Data Centre project experience
- Good working knowledge and practical experience of FIDIC Yellow Book
- Consultancy background preferred
- Strong pre- and post-contract experience
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial and contractual understanding
- Experience managing projects, budgets and teams
- MRICS preferred
- Excellent communication, analytical and report-writing skills
