Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing residential developer operating in Surrey, Sussex and Kent

Role Purpose

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management and cost control of three residential projects at any one time. Positioned within a collaborative team, your expertise will ensure that projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards. Your key objectives will include managing costs, negotiating contracts, and liaising with stakeholders to drive project success. Your contributions will directly impact the profitability and efficiency of the company’s developments, making you an integral part of the business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage project budgets
  • Conduct cost analysis and financial reporting
  • Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the residential sector
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills

  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes and regulations
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
