Senior Quantity Surveyor Tier 1 Main Contractor
Location: Central London
Salary: £85,000 - £95,000 + Car/Allowance + Benefits
A leading Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London division. This is a well-established business with a strong pipeline of work across education, leisure, healthcare, life sciences, and mixed-use developments. The company is known for delivering high-quality, complex projects and offers excellent long-term career prospects.
The Role
- Take the lead on commercial management across a range of London-based projects
- Ensure financial targets are achieved and commercial processes are followed to Tier 1 standards
- Prepare detailed cost plans, valuations, forecasts, and commercial reports
- Manage procurement and subcontractor packages
- Oversee change control
- Play a key role in 2-stage tenders and early-stage project development
- Work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams

What We're Looking For
- Senior Quantity Surveyor with Tier 1 main contractor experience
- Strong background in 2-stage procurement
- Experience across education, leisure, healthcare, or life science projects is highly desirable
- Confident in managing commercial functions independently
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
- HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management is required
