🔎 Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in County Down. The successful candidate will work closely with the commercial and construction teams to ensure successful project delivery.
🏗️ Responsibilities:
- Lead cost control, commercial reporting, and financial management across multiple projects
- Support commercial leadership and contribute to strategic project decisions while mentoring junior surveyors
- Manage contract documentation, subcontractor packages, and payment certifications
- Evaluate tenders, negotiate variations and claims, and lead procurement and supplier agreements
- Deliver monthly cost reports and support commercial performance reporting
- Work closely with site teams to align budgets with programme and project delivery

🎓 Qualifications:
- Level 8 Degree in Quantity Surveying
- 5+ years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally in main contracting
- Strong knowledge of subcontractor account management and procurement processes
- In-depth understanding of Irish construction regulations, standards, and best practices
- Proficient in Excel; experience with Cubit, Procore, and Asta is an advantage
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
