The UK's leading provider of integrated housing solutions has a vacancy for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their busy commercial team in Leeds.
The Role:
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects of multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project budgets and cost control measures.
- Prepare and submit tenders, valuations, and final accounts.
- Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Manage risk and identify potential commercial issues.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the commercial team.

The Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CostX, Excel).
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Full UK driving licence.
