Project Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

South West England | Site-Based | 18-Month Contract

Berkshire Talent Partnership is recruiting a Project Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a client delivering a major £100m renewable energy infrastructure project in the South West.

This is a significant heavy infrastructure scheme and presents an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile project at a critical stage of construction. The successful candidate will become a key member of the site delivery team, taking ownership of commercial and contractual activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidates with strong experience administering NEC4 contracts within major infrastructure, energy, utilities, civil engineering or EPC environments are particularly encouraged to apply.

The Role

Reporting into the Commercial Lead, you will be responsible for managing the commercial performance of the project, ensuring contractual obligations are met, risks are effectively managed, and project objectives are delivered in line with budget and programme.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
