At Wates Residential, we're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team delivering our exciting Guildford Park Road regeneration project. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a major development while working alongside a talented, supportive and collaborative team.

About The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take ownership of key commercial activities across the project, ensuring strong financial performance while maintaining excellent relationships with our customers, supply chain and project teams.

Working closely with operational colleagues and industry specialists, you'll help drive commercial success, deliver value and ensure best practice throughout the project lifecycle.
What You'll Be Doing
- Ensuring all contractual and commercial obligations are met in line with Wates processes and procedures.
- Managing procurement activities, subcontract orders and supply chain relationships.
- Producing and submitting monthly cost reports, procurement strategy updates and progress reports.
- Preparing measurements, valuations and managing contractual notices and change control processes.
- Agreeing valuations with customers and supply chain partners to maintain positive project cashflow.
- Producing and agreeing main contract and subcontract final accounts.
- Supporting the delivery team to maximise value, mitigate risk and achieve project objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a Quantity Surveying or Project Surveying role within construction or residential development.
- Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and work collaboratively within a project team.
- A proactive approach with a focus on delivering results and adding value.
