£75,000 & Package
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial expertise, supporting the delivery of local landmark schemes locally.
The day to day stuff…
- Prepare accurate cost estimates based on consultant reports & technical information
- Develop detailed project cost plans as designs progress
- Produce quantities from drawings and technical documentation
- Support the preparation of Contractor Proposals
- Procure consultants and subcontractors
- Prepare and submit applications for
- Produce accurate monthly cost reports, forecasts and financial updates
- Support project mitigation and commercial recovery strategies
- Attend client, consultant and project meetings
- Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team

What we need from you……
- Previous longevity working for a Tier 1 or large regional contractor as a Senior.
- As an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have a good understanding of construction techniques
- HNC / Degree in commercial management or a similar sector related course, and/or RICS Membership.
- You should also have strong knowledge of company management systems including commercial and financial (Commercial Manager /COINS/Sphere) as well as proven experience of managing a team of assistant/quantity surveyors on a large contract.
