About the Role

Our Client have been appointed as a principal contractor on a major new build project in North West London and are now looking for 2 Senior Quantity Surveyors to join the major £400million project running until 2032, working alongside a team of 10 Surveyors (varying levels of experience).

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor on the scheme there are two positions available and both positions will need someone fully competent in understanding NEC forms of contract.

Senior Quantity Surveyor (Procurement biased)

  • Managing the day to day aspects of the project
  • Placing subcontract orders, variations, CVRs
  • Typical surveying role

Senior Quantity Surveyor (Contract Administrator)

  • Go-to person for anything contract related
  • Managing all commercial administration services
  • Ensuring that the company's contractual obligations with regards to notices, communications and client-side reporting are met

This is a major project with at least 6 years remaining on the scheme so a great opportunity for a long term project.

Requirements

  • A Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • A proven track record on working with NEC forms of contract and be confident in talking through these contracts
  • Demonstratable and robust experience as a Commercial Manager with extensive subcontractor procurement experience within the construction sector
