Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Bristol
Position Type: Permanent, Full Time
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Bristol. The role involves working on various highways and civils projects with a long-term client, overseeing projects between £5 million - £10 million.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage projects, ensuring adherence to programme schedules and budgets.
- Lead the commercial management of contracts (NEC), including forecasting, tendering elements, cost reporting, sub-contract management, and contract administration.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with client expectations.
- Drive cost efficiency through value engineering and effective procurement strategies.
- Ensure robust risk management and contractual compliance across all projects.
- Mentor and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Report on project performance and provide strategic commercial insights to senior leadership.

- Quantity Surveying degree is desired
- Experience working on Civil Engineering projects
- Experience with rail would be beneficial
- Ability to establish, build, and maintain client relationships
