Senior Quantity Surveyor - East Hyde STW Project
Location: East Hyde, Luton
Hours: 45 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
About the Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will lead the commercial delivery of key work packages across the East Hyde STW Growth Project. This is an exciting opportunity to influence commercial strategy as the project progresses through detailed design, ensuring robust commercial controls are implemented throughout. You'll provide leadership to the commercial team while maintaining ownership of project delivery within a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Leading procurement activities including tender evaluation, recommendation, and subcontract award
- Administering subcontract accounts, valuations, change events, and final accounts
- Providing leadership, support, and mentoring to Quantity Surveyors within the project team
- Managing project change, risk, and opportunity while ensuring contractual compliance
- Contributing to commercial reporting including CVR, forecasting, and cashflow management

Requirements
This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
- You hold a relevant academic qualification in a construction-related degree
- You hold a Full driving license
- You have prior experience working in a commercial role for a contractor
- You have experience with a variety of contract forms
- You have the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
