A leading infrastructure contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the appointment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor. Operating across a diverse portfolio of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, the business offers long-term contract opportunities within an established and supportive commercial environment.
Your new role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from inception through to final account. Working closely with operational teams, you'll oversee subcontractor management, valuations, change control, cost forecasting and monthly commercial reporting, ensuring projects are delivered in line with programme and budget expectations.

This is a contract opportunity. The role will initially require 4 days per week in the office and 1 day working from home, with increased flexibility available once established within the team.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the Utilities sector or similar (Essential).
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
- Experience managing subcontractor packages.
- Proven background in valuations, variations and compensation events.
- Experience producing CVRs, forecasts and commercial reports.
- Final accounts experience.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
- HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
