Bouygues UK are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our building safety team. The role would initially be to work on a £30M refurbishment project in the Cardiff Bay area.
Job Purpose And Scope
You will be responsible for maximising the commercial Results/Cash position of projects in terms of delivering optimum profit performance against internal budgets. Manage the procurement of Sub-contractors, and their financial & contractual management. The preparing and agreeing Interim Valuations with the Client & for progressing the agreement of Variations as the work proceeds utilising company tools. Collaborating with the Project Manager and other members of the Project team.

- Post-contract financial forecasting, financial reporting & control
- Design management and value engineering
- Sub-contract & consultant procurement
- Sub-contract & consultant management
- Client account management
- Management of graduate and assistant surveyors

About You
- Residential/Commercial sector experience
- Previous experience must include a main contractor
- Experience in producing financial reports, including forecast, net margin, & activity
- Strong commercial awareness
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and produces accurate work
- Be able to facilitate the promoting the training and development of Graduates and Assistant QS’s
- Demonstrate a solid understanding/management of company reporting timetables, as well as key tools & procedures
