Job Opportunity: Band 6 Radiographer in Oban

Bring your skills and enthusiasm to our friendly Radiology team in Oban.

As a Band 6 Radiographer, you’ll take on a more advanced and autonomous role, helping us deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service to our local community on the stunning west coast of Scotland.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver high-quality general radiography across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings
  • Apply advanced practice skills appropriate to Band 6 level, supporting clinical decision-making and safe patient management
  • Work collaboratively within a small multidisciplinary team, contributing to smooth, patient-centred service delivery
  • Support training, supervision, and mentorship of Band 5 colleagues and students
  • Participate in out-of-hours and weekend rota (enhanced rates apply)

What We’re Looking For

  • HCPC-registered Diagnostic Radiographer
  • Strong clinical experience in general radiography, with confidence to work independently
  • A proactive, flexible approach and commitment to high-quality patient care
  • Someone who enjoys the variety and responsibility that comes with rural healthcare
