Radiographer Mammographer Positions

We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and hard-working Radiographer Mammographer's that have the Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography to work in the Breast Unit at City Health Campus, Walsall Manor Hospital, and the 5 dedicated screening mobile units that are used within the community. Trainee posts may be available for the Postgraduate Certificate.

The City breast unit has Hologic - Dimensions units, and Walsall breast unit has GE-Pristina digital equipment.

We are one of the largest screening programmes in the West Midlands. Being an innovative team, we have implemented Tomosynthesis in assessment clinics, are part of the National Tomosynthesis trial with Kings College hospital, are the only service in the West Midlands to have a Tomo biopsy unit, and are the first service Nationally to have introduced the Automated Breast Ultrasound system into the breast symptomatic pathway.

We are looking for qualified Mammographers to join our proactive team. However, we could look to offer a Band 5 training post to a suitable Radiographer.

Disclaimer: Please note, there is a requirement for the post holder to be female (Equality Act 2010/breast Screening: Programme overview).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
