We are currently recruiting for a Senior RAMS Engineers to join our office across the EU within the Electronics and System Engineering Division.
Mission
We are looking to recruit 4 experienced RAMS Experts to support major High-Speed Railway infrastructure projects across the European Union, within the European regulatory framework.
The positions will focus on RAMS management, coordination, and technical review in accordance with EN 50126, EN 50129, CSM-RA and applicable European and national railway requirements.
The successful candidates will support system-level RAMS activities and review the RAMS deliverables of different railway subsystems, contributing to the overall system safety case and authorization for placing into service.
Key Accountabilities
RAMS Management
- Manage and perform RAMS activities in compliance with EN 50126-1/-2, EN 50129, CSM-RA and applicable National Rules throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and maintain RAMS and safety documentation, including the System Definition, System Safety Plan, System RAM Plan, System RAM Report, Hazard Analyses and System Safety Case.
- Coordinate system-level RAM and safety activities supporting authorization for placing into service.
- Ensure consistency and traceability of RAMS requirements, analyses, and RAMS evidences.

- Review RAMS analyses and reports developed at subsystem level, including reliability modelling, availability analysis, maintainability assessments, LCC where applicable, hazard analyses, QRA and Safety Cases.
- Ensure the coherence and integration of subsystem safety arguments into the overall System Safety Case.
- Coordinate RAMS interfaces between subsystems, the System Integrator, and the Independent Safety Assessor (ISA).
- Coordinate RAMS activities across different railway subsystems to support system-level RAMS integration.
Technical Scope
We are looking for candidates with strong RAMS experience in at least one of the following railway disciplines:
- ENE – Overhead Line Equipment (OHLE) / Traction Power Supply
- CCS – Signalling / Control-Command and Signalling / Telecommunications
- INFRA – Trackwork / Civil Works
- O&M – Operations & Maintenance
Experience across more than one of these areas will be considered an advantage.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Engineering – Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in railway infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience as a RAMS Expert on major railway infrastructure projects, preferably including High-Speed Rail projects with speeds of 250 km/h or above.
- Proven RAMS experience in at least one of the following areas: Civil & Track Works, Electrification/Traction Power, Control-Command & Signalling, or O&M.
- Demonstrated experience in RAMS management and coordination, including the review and integration of subsystem RAMS deliverables.
- Strong knowledge of EN 50126, EN 50129, CSM-RA and relevant European railway regulations and standards.
- Experience working with System Integrators, Infrastructure Managers, railway operators and/or Independent Safety Assessors will be considered an advantage.
- Fluent in English.

- Willingness to work on international railway projects across the EU.
- Availability for frequent business travel and/or long-term project assignments.
- Willingness to relocate within the European territory, depending on project requirements.
- Candidates can be based in different EU countries.
