innoscripta is looking for an experienced Senior R&D Tax Consultant to join our growing UK team.

This is a tax-focused role, responsible for managing the financial and tax aspects of UK R&D claims for a portfolio of clients, including large and complex corporate groups.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the tax and financial aspects of UK R&D claims from scoping through to submission.
  • Preparing and reviewing R&D tax calculations and supporting financial analysis.
  • Working with large corporate clients and managing high-value, complex R&D claims.
  • Reviewing qualifying expenditure across areas such as staffing, subcontractors, consumables, software, and externally provided workers.
  • Ensuring claims are compliant with current UK R&D tax legislation and HMRC guidance.
  • Supporting CT600 and Additional Information Form submissions.
  • Working closely with technical colleagues to ensure financial and technical claim positions are fully aligned.
  • Managing client relationships with Heads of Tax, Finance Directors, and CFOs.
  • Supporting HMRC enquiries and wider R&D tax risk management.

We are looking for someone with strong UK R&D tax experience and a proven track record of working on large and complex R&D claims. Experience within a Big Four, mid-tier accountancy firm, or specialist R&D consultancy would be beneficial.
