About The Role
We are excited to partner with a prominent global technology firm that is establishing a state-of-the-art engineering hub in Belfast. This organization is focused on developing innovative software solutions that are utilized worldwide, impacting various industries and driving critical business outcomes. As part of this growth initiative, they are seeking experienced Senior React Engineers to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing next-generation web applications that are scalable, efficient, and user-centric. The position offers a hybrid work model based in Belfast, providing flexibility while fostering collaboration within a modern, innovative environment. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity ideal for professionals eager to work on impactful projects within a cutting-edge tech ecosystem.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in building complex, high-performance frontend applications using React and Typescript. A strong understanding of core web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and responsive design principles is essential. Candidates should have experience working within Agile development teams and collaborative environments, demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is advantageous but not mandatory. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is required. While experience in financial services is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite for this role. The successful applicant will be passionate about frontend development, eager to learn, and committed to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain high-quality, scalable frontend applications utilizing React, Typescript, and modern web technologies to meet business requirements and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver seamless, intuitive user experiences that align with strategic goals.
- Participate in architectural discussions, contributing innovative ideas and best practices to improve application design and performance.
- Contribute to the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of software releases.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct thorough code reviews, and promote adherence to coding standards and best practices in frontend engineering.
- Experiment with new frameworks, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve development workflows, enhance product quality, and stay ahead of industry trends.
