THE ROLE
A well-established software and data specialist in Lincoln is growing its engineering team. It is hiring Senior React Engineers to build complex, data-rich applications for government and secure-sector clients. You’ll help shape front-end architecture on mission-critical projects where your work has real-world impact.

THE SENIOR REACT ENGINEER ROLE
- Design and build high-quality, scalable front-end applications in React and TypeScript
- Turn complex datasets into clear, intuitive user interfaces and visualisations
- Work closely with back-end engineers, solutions architects and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Own front-end architecture decisions and set coding standards
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and pairing
- Contribute to testing, performance tuning and continuous improvement across the stack

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Strong commercial experience at senior level with React and TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+)
- Solid knowledge of state management (e.g. Redux, Zustand, React Query)
- Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs
- Front-end testing experience (Jest, React Testing Library or similar)
- Good grasp of Git, CI/CD and agile delivery
- Ability to commute to Lincoln 3–5 days per week
- UK resident for at least 5 years and eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance
