Senior React Engineer – React, Typescript, Tailwind, Figma, UX & UI – Global B2B SaaS

  • £600 - £700 per day
  • Outside IR35
  • 12-month contract
  • 100% remote

About the Role:

Outstanding contract opportunity to join this global, market leading B2B SaaS organisation. We’re looking for a Senior React UI Engineer who blends strong frontend engineering with credible design instincts to contribute to the frontend design & development of a greenfield platform. You’ll be the person who knows when something is ugly versus broken and you’ll spend your time fixing the latter. We ship fast, we prioritise function over form, and we need someone who thrives in that environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and refine UI for a high‑growth B2B SaaS product, using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
  • Own our Tailwind-based component library, keeping it aligned (best effort, not pixel-perfect) with our Figma design system.
  • Act as a go-to for UX questions, helping engineers make sensible, user-friendly decisions.
  • Identify, highlight, and PR fixes for UX issues across the app as part of your day-to-day workflow.
  • Bring a designer’s eye to engineering decisions; ideally, you’re an ex-designer or someone with a credible design background.
  • Contribute to a fast-moving product culture where pragmatism beats perfection.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years’ experience building frontend components and responsive web apps in React + TypeScript.
  • Deep familiarity with Tailwind and modern frontend tooling.
  • Strong grounding in HTML, CSS, accessibility, and browser behaviour.
  • Experience with modern testing frameworks (React Testing Library, Playwright).
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional Agile teams, collaborating closely with designers and product.
  • Ability to break down complex UX or UI problems into clear, deliverable improvements.
  • A background in design or product UI is a big plus, but we’re specifically looking for people with B2B SaaS experience, not agency portfolios.

Who This Role Is Not For:

  • Candidates whose experience is primarily design agency or marketing-site focused.
  • People who want pixel-perfection or slow, aesthetic-first delivery.
  • Engineers who prefer rigid design systems over pragmatic product iteration.

Why You’ll Love It Here:

  • You’ll have real ownership over UI quality and UX consistency.
  • You’ll work in a high-velocity engineering culture where your improvements ship quickly.
  • You’ll shape how our users experience the product every single day.
