We are looking for a Senior React Native Developer to join our team and help build high-quality, cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. This role is perfect for someone with extensive hands-on experience in mobile development who is ready to take ownership, drive technical decisions and contribute to impactful projects. If you're passionate about writing clean code, delivering polished user experiences and working with modern technologies like AWS and AppSync within a strong engineering team, we'd love to hear from you!
What your day will look like:
- Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for both Android and iOS, ensuring consistent performance and user experience across devices and OS versions
- Build and maintain GraphQL APIs using AWS AppSync, including schema design, resolvers and real-time subscription functionality
- Integrate AWS services such as DynamoDB, Lambda, S3 and Cognito with AppSync to deliver scalable and secure backend solutions
- Lead architectural discussions and technical decision-making across the mobile stack, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions for both iOS and Android applications
- Implement responsive and intuitive UI components following platform-specific guidelines for both Android and iOS, ensuring a native look and feel across all supported devices and screen sizes
- Manage application state effectively using appropriate state management solutions, maintaining clean and predictable data flows
- Own the full release lifecycle for both platforms, including building, signing and deploying applications through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- Write and maintain automated tests including unit, integration and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality, reliability and confidence across all supported platforms and devices
- Monitor and optimise application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks in rendering, network calls and memory usage across both platforms
- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate requirements and wireframes into polished, production-ready features
- Stay current with the React native ecosystem, proactively evaluating new libraries, tools and AWS service updates to continuously improve the development stack

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
