Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Real Estate Lawyer (Commercial & Private) based in the City of London. The role includes advising clients on commercial and residential property transactions, leases, acquisitions, disposals, and real estate development projects. The professional will draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other property-related documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant UK and EU regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities involve managing client portfolios, coordinating with tax and corporate teams, handling due diligence, and supporting complex cross-border transactions. The Senior Real Estate Lawyer will also mentor junior colleagues, contribute to business development activities, and maintain strong client relationships through proactive and responsive service.

Qualifications
- Qualification: Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a current clean practicing certificate.
- Strong expertise (at least 5 years PQE) in Real Estate and Real Property law, with significant experience in commercial and private property matters.
- Experience in Real Estate Development, including advising on planning, construction, and development agreements.
- Client-focused approach with solid Customer Service and relationship management skills.
- Business-oriented mindset with experience in Sales or supporting business development within professional services.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and risk management capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and to manage multiple complex matters concurrently.
- Communication: Flawless written and spoken English communication skills, with a track record of handling sophisticated client expectations independently.

Preferred Skills (A Plus)
- Language Proficiency: Fluency or professional working proficiency in written and spoken Italian is strongly preferred. The ability to translate legal concepts between English and Italian contexts will add tremendous value to our international desks.
- International Networks: Pre-existing connections or familiarity with the Italian real estate investment market or European property funds.
