Role Description
The Senior Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based at Harry’s Restaurants in London. This role is responsible for:

- Warmly greeting guests on arrival
- Managing reservations and walk-ins
- Coordinating table allocations to support a smooth service flow
- Answering telephone and email inquiries
- Providing accurate information about menus and opening times
- Managing booking changes and special requests

Day-to-day tasks include:
- Overseeing reception desk operations
- Maintaining guest records
- Supporting front-of-house communication
- Ensuring a high standard of guest service from welcome to farewell
The role also involves:
- Collaborating with management and floor teams
- Handling administrative and clerical tasks
- Helping train or guide junior reception staff as needed
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating welcoming, positive guest experiences.
- Excellent communication abilities, including clear verbal and written communication with guests and team members.
- Professional phone etiquette and confidence handling high volumes of calls and reservation inquiries.
- Proficiency in core receptionist duties, including managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating.
- Solid clerical skills, such as data entry, record keeping, and use of reservation or POS systems.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality reception role, ideally at a senior or supervisory level.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
