Company Overview

La Petite Maison London is looking for an experienced and personable Senior Receptionist to join our front-of-house team.

As one of London’s leading restaurants, we are looking for someone who understands that exceptional hospitality starts from the moment a guest arrives. You will be responsible for creating a warm, polished and memorable welcome while ensuring the reception operation runs seamlessly throughout service.

About The Role

As Senior Receptionist, you will be a key member of the front-of-house team, acting as an ambassador for La Petite Maison and helping to deliver the high standards of service our guests expect.

You will support the Reception team, manage reservations and guest requests, and work closely with the restaurant management and service teams to ensure every guest receives a seamless and personalised experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and farewell every guest with warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality.
  • Lead by example and support the Reception team during busy services.
  • Manage reservations, table allocations and guest requests with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop strong relationships with regular and VIP guests, recognising and anticipating their preferences.
  • Ensure all guest information and special requests are communicated effectively to the relevant teams.
  • Handle guest enquiries and feedback confidently, professionally and discreetly.
  • Work closely with the Restaurant Management and Front-of-House teams to ensure a smooth service.
  • Assist with the training and development of new Reception team members.
  • Maintain excellent standards of personal presentation and professionalism at all times.
  • Remain calm, organised and welcoming in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Uphold the distinctive standards and values of La Petite Maison hospitality.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
