About the role
We’re seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our Global Talent Acquisition team in Richmond. You’ll play a pivotal role in hiring top technology talent across Ireland, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and the Nordics. From sourcing exceptional engineers to guiding senior leaders through talent strategy, your work will directly influence the future of eBay’s technology and products.
In this role, curiosity is as important as expertise. AI is reshaping the future of recruiting, and we’re looking for someone who isn’t just open to change but eager to experiment — exploring new tools, data, and approaches that unlock smarter, faster, and more inclusive hiring.

Our team works in a hybrid model with three days per week in our Blanchardstown office.
What you’ll do
- Partner with senior tech leaders to build and implement hiring strategies that bring in exceptional talent.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment across multiple markets — from sourcing and assessment to negotiation and closing.
- Build and activate diverse talent pipelines by networking, prospecting, and maximising new channels.
- Champion candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects eBay’s values.
- Collaborate with colleagues in People Operations, Business Partnering, DIB, and Compensation to deliver a seamless hiring journey.
- Coach hiring managers and interview teams to level up recruiting capabilities and create a consistent, inclusive process.
- Experiment with AI-driven recruiting tools and share findings that push the function forward.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience as a technical recruiter, ideally within eCommerce or technology sectors.
- Solid understanding of EMEA labor markets and trends, with the ability to adapt strategies across countries.
- Passion for technology, innovation, and the future of recruiting — including curiosity about AI and its role in hiring.
- Resilience and adaptability in a constantly evolving environment, with a team-first approach.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with leaders, colleagues, and candidates alike.
- Fluent English (other European languages a plus).
- Hands-on experience with ATS and CRM tools (Workday, GEM), and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn.
