Senior Recruiter (FTC Maternity Cover)

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter to join our busy and successful in-house Recruitment team at Brands2Life. This is a fixed-term maternity cover role, starting ASAP for six months.

Brands2Life is one of the UK’s leading integrated communications agencies, with over 190 talented professionals across London, New York, and San Francisco. Our Recruitment team plays a pivotal role in attracting and hiring the best talent to support our continued growth and success.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll partner closely with hiring managers and the People & Recruitment team to deliver exceptional recruitment experiences across a variety of disciplines from PR, Digital & Social Media, Marketing and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with the People & Recruitment team and hiring managers to understand resourcing needs.
  • Taking detailed job briefs and ensuring clarity on the recruitment process for each role.
  • Creating and posting standout job advertisements.
  • Proactively sourcing candidates through headhunting, networking, and managing applications.
  • Managing the full candidate journey, including:
    • Carrying out initial screening calls to assess suitability and provide an engaging first impression of Brands2Life.
    • Scheduling and preparing hiring managers and candidates for interviews.
    • Welcoming candidates to the office and ensuring any task setups or technical requirements are in place.
    • Gathering and delivering detailed feedback.
    • Managing expectations around roles, salary, and benefits.
    • Communicating outcomes and offers.
    • Working with the People and wider Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding for new joiners.
    • Maintaining accurate records in our recruitment database.
  • Supporting the People & Recruitment team to manage freelancer bookings and administration, including sourcing talent, issuing contracts, conducting IR35 assessments, and coordinating with the Finance team to ensure compliance and smooth processing.
  • Occasionally partnering with our preferred supplier list (PSL) recruitment agencies and liaising with external partners such as LinkedIn Account Management teams and YunoJuno to support hiring needs.

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in a busy recruitment role – ideally within an in-house team in a similar industry (PR, Digital, Social Media, Marketing).
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and basics of employment law (including right to work and IR35).
  • Experienced user of LinkedIn Recruiter for proactive sourcing and talent engagement.
  • A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Someone who is highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • A warm, personable approach – you’ll often be the first point of contact for candidates, so building positive relationships is key.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with a solutions-focused mindset.
