Scorewarrior
Scorewarrior is a game developer and publisher based in Limassol, Cyprus. The company focuses on the 4X strategy genre, with an ambitious goal to grow its hit game, Total Battle, to become the No.1 strategy game in the world. Our team consists of 200+ passionate, talented, self-driven, and continually developing professionals who love making high-quality games.
Our Product
We are currently working on Total Battle — an MMO 4X strategy game with a deep political system and lots of player interaction. Players take on the role of a commander and need to develop their city, forge alliances, fight against monsters, and conquer other players. We're constantly developing new game mechanics, and the project is continuing to grow.
At the heart of our Player Care department, our mission is to excite our players with exceptional customer care, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and protected throughout their journey with us.
The Role
In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Player Care and become the department's owner of recruiting: from market mapping and sourcing to offer and probation success, and the builder of the selection system that will outlive any single search.
What You'll Do
- Own the full hiring plan and pipeline of the department: volume hiring for 24/7 operational roles and more unique senior searches.
- Build the department's selection machine: design scorecards, structured interviews, work samples, and role-tier assessments for every recurring profile and wire them into ATS workflow gates so the standard enforces itself rather than relying on discipline.
- Treat every search as input to the system: each closed role leaves behind a reusable kit; each probation outcome feeds back into how we assess.
- Proactively source: boolean/X-ray, LinkedIn, gaming and T&S communities, talent pool reactivation instead of just processing inbound applications.
- Build and maintain market maps, warm candidate pools, and a funnel dashboard with per-stage conversions.
- Partner with the hiring manager through weekly profile calibrations; push back with data when criteria don't match the market.
- Sell relocation offers honestly, and close candidates anyway.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Have
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting, including both volume hiring (10+ closures/year on operational roles) and senior/niche searches.
- Proven proactive sourcing craft you can demonstrate live.
- Fluency with funnel metrics: pass-through rates, time-to-fill, source effectiveness.
- Structured interviewing habits: scorecards, written screen notes, reference checks with managers (not HR).
- Ability to design selection processes, not just run them: you can propose the right mix of interviews, work samples, and tests for a new role and explain what each stage predicts. We'll test this live, so a portfolio line is not required.
- Fluent English.
- Genuine interest in games.
