Job Title: Recruitment Consultant – Technology | 4 Specialist Opportunities

Salary Range

£40K–£60K base + tiered commission + £4K–£6K target bonus

Location / Working Model

Shoreditch, London | Hybrid, 2 days in office, typically Wednesday and Thursday

A growing technology recruitment business is expanding across four specialist areas and is looking for recruiters who want genuine ownership rather than a heavily managed environment. You’ll join a high-trust team with established technology relationships, regular coaching and direct access to experienced leadership. Whether your background is in product, AI and data, go-to-market or engineering recruitment, there is a route to build something of your own.

The Senior Consultant will build and grow a specialist recruitment desk across one of four technology-focused markets, combining client development, candidate engagement and end-to-end delivery.

Role Highlights

  • Product Contract: Take ownership of two established accounts, including a large exclusive relationship, then build additional consultancy relationships and grow a contract-focused product desk
  • AI & Data: Build market share in AI and data by developing new relationships, creating communities, running events and becoming visible within a rapidly expanding specialist market
  • Marketing & Sales: Join a two-person go-to-market team, building a 360 desk across sales and marketing while developing new business through relationships, networking and events
  • Software & Product Engineering: Join an established engineering function and bring complementary strengths in networking, relationship building and commercial development

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You Will Need

  • Recruitment experience with genuine motivation to build a desk, develop clients and create long-term relationships
  • Confidence operating a 360 recruitment model, including business development rather than relying solely on existing vacancies
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with candidates, hiring managers and new contacts
  • A self-directed approach suited to a high-trust environment where you are trusted to manage your own activity and results
  • Relevant specialist experience is preferred for some desks, but proven commercial ability, curiosity and potential matter more than having the exact sector background

Why You’ll Love It

  • Four distinct specialist routes: Product Contract, AI & Data, Marketing & Sales, or Software/Product Engineering
  • £40K - £60K base salary, depending on experience and level
  • Monthly commission with a quarterly top-up option and transparent tiered earning structure
  • £4K–£6K target bonus based on performance across a rolling two-month period
  • Only 2 office days a week in Shoreditch, typically Wednesday and Thursday, with flexibility around business needs
  • High autonomy: you’ll be trusted to run your desk without being pushed throughout the day
  • Regular coaching and feedback designed to help you improve continuously rather than waiting for formal reviews
  • Support with business development through established relationships, networking and events
  • A clear progression model: prove yourself, establish a strong desk, then earn the opportunity to grow a team or desk around you
  • An environment where progression is earned through performance rather than simply hiring experienced managers above you
