Senior Recruiter

Location: London, UK – Near London Bridge. In-person preferred.

Compensation: Total compensation for this role starts at £100k in cash and equity

Visa Sponsorship: Available for the right candidate

Start Date: As soon as possible

Summary

Deducta is a fast-growing startup serving some of the world’s largest and most recognizable companies. We are well funded and actively solving some of the most pressing business challenges in the modern enterprise.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter to help us build an exceptional team as we scale. You will own searches end to end across some of our most important hires, from identifying and engaging outstanding candidates through interviews, closing, and onboarding.

This is not a recruiting coordination role. You will be expected to develop a deep understanding of what exceptional looks like for each position, proactively find those people, assess them with good judgment, and run a candidate experience that reflects the quality and ambition of the company we are building.

About Deducta

Deducta is a data intelligence platform for global enterprises. We deliver unprecedented clarity into mission-critical data for the world’s largest and most complex enterprises, starting with spend data. We are the leading edge for major business transformations. Our partners use Deducta to deliver results that matter, orders of magnitude faster.

The Role

As Senior Recruiter, you will be a key member of the team responsible for building Deducta.

You will partner closely with company leadership and hiring managers to understand what we need, translate that into a clear candidate profile, and run searches from initial sourcing through offer accepted. You will recruit across functions, including product, engineering, customer, GTM, and operations roles.

We are still early, so you won’t inherit a large recruiting machine or a rigid playbook. You will need to be comfortable getting into the details yourself, building candidate pipelines from scratch, improving how we hire, and moving quickly when priorities change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you will do:

  • Own searches end to end, from role definition and sourcing strategy through assessment, closing, references, and offer
  • Proactively source exceptional candidates, rather than relying primarily on inbound applications or external agencies
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to define what great looks like and translate it into a focused search
  • Assess candidates with strong judgment, developing a real understanding of their capabilities, motivations, trajectory, and fit for an early-stage environment
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, maintaining pace, communication, and a high bar for every interaction
  • Help us win great candidates, understanding what matters to them and working with the team to communicate the opportunity thoughtfully and credibly
  • Build and improve our recruiting processes, including interview design, scorecards, pipeline management, reporting, and use of our ATS (ByAshby)
  • Use data to manage recruiting performance, identifying bottlenecks and ensuring priority searches continue moving
  • Help build Deducta’s talent network and employer brand as we scale

Success in this role means:

  • Our highest-priority roles have strong pipelines of exceptional candidates
  • We hire outstanding people without becoming dependent on external recruiters
  • Leadership has a clear view of pipeline health, trade-offs, and next steps
  • Candidates move through the process quickly and consistently have an excellent experience
  • Our recruiting processes become more rigorous and scalable as the company grows

  • Excellent communication: you can build credibility with candidates and hiring managers and communicate clearly throughout a process
  • Commercial instinct: you understand that recruiting is partly about identifying talent and partly about winning it
  • Operational discipline: you keep pipelines organized, follow through relentlessly, and use data to understand where a search is working or breaking down
  • Adaptability: you are comfortable with changing priorities and building processes while simultaneously running searches

Nice to have:
