As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic Contract Recruiter to join our growing tech-focused start-up firm!
Role Overview:
As a Contract Recruiter at Berkley Hunt, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our VC partners, engaging and placing high-caliber tech talent into key roles across a variety of portfolio firms. You'll manage the full recruitment cycle and develop client relationships for the length of the engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients. Understand their hiring needs and provide consultative recruitment solutions.
- Use a variety of sourcing methods (e.g., LinkedIn, Bullhorn, networking events) to identify, approach, and engage qualified tech candidates.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for our clients, from candidate attraction, interviewing, and assessment through to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Stay current on trends in the technology industry, including skills demand, salary benchmarks, and competitor activity.
- Consistently meet and exceed placement targets, revenue goals, and KPIs agreed for the contract period.
- Keep the candidate database on Bullhorn organized and up to date.

Requirements:
- Strong recruitment experience, with a strong focus on tech roles within the contract space.
- Solid understanding of the technology landscape and tech skill sets (e.g., software development, data/AI, and product).
- A track record of placing tech consultants and building a strong contract desk, growing weekly margin through contractor placements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client and candidate relationships.
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to develop new business and close deals.
- Ability to hit the ground running and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a willingness to take initiative.
- A collaborative attitude and a passion for contributing to team success.
