Senior Recruitment Consultant – Finance & Accountancy
Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Competitive Basic + Uncapped Commission + Excellent Benefits
We're looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Finance & Accountancy division. This is an opportunity to inherit an established client base due to a consultant relocating, while developing your own market within one of the UK's most resilient and high-performing sectors.
Whether your background is in qualified finance, transactional finance or executive finance recruitment, you'll have the autonomy to build your desk with the backing of a collaborative and ambitious team.
The Role
As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you'll be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates across the finance and accounting market.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing new business opportunities across the North West and wider UK market
- Managing and growing existing client relationships
- Recruiting finance professionals from Accounts Assistant through to Finance Director level
- Conducting client meetings, market mapping and business development activity
- Sourcing, interviewing and qualifying high-calibre candidates
- Managing recruitment processes from briefing through to offer and placement
- Providing consultative market insight and salary benchmarking
- Building a strong personal brand through networking and LinkedIn engagement
- Working towards ambitious but achievable revenue and activity targets

About You
You'll be an experienced recruiter with a proven track record of success within professional services recruitment.
We're looking for someone with:
- At least 2 years' recruitment experience, ideally within Finance & Accountancy
- A consistent record of achieving or exceeding billing targets
- Strong business development and relationship management skills
- Confidence managing permanent, interim or contract recruitment assignments
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A proactive, resilient and commercially minded approach
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service to clients and candidates
